The beginning of Örebro Stay

Sunday 27 March 2011, the SO waited day "D" finally came up, and after saying goodbye (more than bye, just see you later) to friends and family, I took the plane from Málaga to Västeras to start my Swedish experience.

Since the begining it has been a "different" journey. To sart up, the plane tried to take off from Malaga at the scheduled time (6:10 AM) but after accelerating (almost started flying) it suddendly brake!!! ...We were announced that they detected some problems in the plane and that they needed to repair it in order to be able to depart. After near an hour of "repairements" we finally took off, with the always magic solution of "restart the system" LOL.

Four hours of unconfortable seats and positions trying to recover at least some hours of sleep, finally took me to Västeras Airport. It was... how to describe it.. "LITTLE", but everything was fine in his way, and after taking the bags I just went out to pick up a taxi (because I read somewhere that there is no bus between the the airport and Västeras train station). There was only one taxi at the entrance waiting passengers (little means LITTLE), so I ran into it and asked to go to the train station. For my surprise, the driver didn't undestand English "even not mine :D" so little information about the trains, where to buy the tickets could I get from him.

In the train station I bought the ticket to Örebro, where Marco Tricanvelli would be waiting me. As expected, the ticket as all indicator pannels where all in Swedish, so I just took the train at my time and sat down in the first empty seat I saw. To my surprise (again) the seats were numbered (but none told me about that), and in my ticket I could only read "Örebro" and a lot of weird stuf I have no idea what for. A group appear in the bagon I was sat at, and started looking for their seats..... I thought, sure I am in the wrong place, so I managed to ask him if he kindly could read my ticket and tell me where should I be sat, but it seems my ticket had no number after all, so I just kept my place waiting someone told me otherwise.

13:15, I reached Örebro!! and I called Marco as planned so he could pick me up. "Sorry, my car is broken", so I had two options: take the bus number 2 or a new taxi. The addres of my new home is Dembersketgatten or something similar, so to avoid more confusion I just took another taxi and finally arrived here, to which will be my home for the next three months.

After putting things in order, going downstairs to buy something to eat for tomorrow, Sweden gave me the welcome with cold and SNOW!!! Sure these few months are going to be interesting!
